Simple Tips for Natural Hair

A few quick tips to help maintain healthy hair.

Here are a few things that I found to be helpful to maintain length and healthy hair.


  1. Water water water Remember that water is over half of what our bodies are made of. Drinking lots of water and also using it as an aid to your moisturizers will help alot.

  2. Satin/silk pillowcase and scarf This helps keep from damaging your ends and also helps keep your protective style.

  3. Protective styles The less manipulation you do to your hair the better. Also this makes your hair stronger and less prone to breakage.

  4. Keep it moisturised Keeping moisture in your hair is the same thing as putting lotion on your skin. If it is dry and brittle and there is nothing protecting it from the environment its going to break.

  5. Avoid heat as much as possible too much heat dries your hair strands making them weak which eventually or immediately causes them to break
